bio

Heléne was born in Vancouver, Canada the most beautiful city in the Great White North. However it was a short lived Canadianism as her parents moved her to Los Angeles a year and a half later. While in LA, she got her first littler brother Lance, and a move to Atlanta a few years later brought the second, Sudsy. The whole gang then went back to LA, jumped to Minneapolis, and then landed back in LA in time for her to go to Middle and High School.

Heléne started performing first as a dancer. She was heavily into Ballet as a kid, and her little brothers were dragged to multiple Nutcrackers and dance recitals. In the seventh grade, with the help of Mrs. Jan Smith of Paul Revere Middle School, she found herself in choir and discovered a love for singing. Throughout High School she was a part of all the school plays and competed in the Southern California DTASC drama festivals, taking home several honors with her schoolmates.  During the summers she studied acting at the Walnut Hill School, Boston University and the British American Drama Academy in London.  With this love of singing, dancing and acting, she decided to study Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Since graduation, Heléne has been a part of numerous productions. Upon leaving school she landed a role in the off Broadway show Walmartopia, which lead to Disney's High School Musical on tour for which she was critically acclaimed in cities across the nation for playing the role of Sharpay. Since then she has had the great fortune of working at the Atlantic Theatre Company in What's That Smell: The Music of Jacob Sterling, being on Broadway as Marty in Grease, opening the second national tour of Wicked as Glinda, appearing in the FX series Louie, and working on the new musical Bring It On with Andy Blankenbuehler, Tom Kitt, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Jeff Whitty and Amanda Green, while also being a part of numerous readings and concerts.

Heléne feels very blessed and looks forward to what the future will hold!
